Hello all, it has been quite awhile. There have been numerous reasons why that is but I decided the time is right to break the silence and release something. These songs were initially written to follow up my previous album "Black And White" in what would have been a new Subtracting Smiles album. Initially the goal was to release it sometime in 2019 but life got in the way and this project kind of fell to the wayside. When I started writing music again, I noticed a creative shift in my songwriting which was a departure from the style present on this release. With both 64 and Empire of Ghosts being released prior, I wrestled with the idea of even putting this together since those recordings and the others are now about 2 years old. But looking back, those songs, along with the rest of this collection, are among some of my best and deserve a spot on an official release. These are some of my favorite tracks I have made and I hated the thought that they would be forgotten about or missed by someone stumbling across the body of work I have previously released.

The artwork for this album is kind of a continuation of Black and White since they were written immediately after that albums release. So think of this as a sort of epilouge if you will.
